Indian "pickle"

Has anyone tried this? It is SO good. It has nothing to do with cucumbers, but rather an oily fermented vegetable/fruit condiment. It goes great with curries and has a very pungent flavor. It is one of those "acquired tastes" condiments that hasn't caught on much here. IMHO it is better than Sambal or Sriracha. I have added it to tacos and even tomato sauce served on pasta. Am I the only one who likes this? (I buy green chili pickle at Pooja in Columbia Heights.)
