KISHKE- Egg or no egg?

Hi all, I am hoping to make some delicious kishka to add in to my lamb roast this seder and I have seen many recipes with the usual, carrot, onion, matza meal, spices and schmaltz- but I just watched the DDD episode with Rhoda Kaplan and she added (an indeterminate) number of eggs in her recipe.

Should I or shouldnt I...?

Advice is most welcome!

  1. I don't use egg when I make kishke...carrots, onions, oil, flour, salt and pepper. Roll up in foil and bake.
