Sushi - Upper West Side or Midtown West

I'm taking my Chicago cousin (who is half Japanese) and her 7 year old son out for sushi next week. What would be fun for a child and chow-worthy for the adults?

    Sushi Yasaka on 72nd between Broadway and West End has very good sushi and is family friendly.

      "Fun for child" doesn't really match with any of the UWS sushi places I know, but my current favorites are Tenzan, Gari Columbus and Momoya.

      None of these are at the top of the sushi places in NYC, but they are decent and in the neighborhood.
