90th Birthday dinner

15 members of my family will be visiting DC for my grandmother's 90th birthday. I'm looking for a nice place for dinner for all of us to go. There will be three kids with us. Not everyone is open to trying different types of food. American or seafood would be safe. Ethnicities may be too daring. Price should be average to above average. Any reccomendations woule be appreciated.

Thanks

    A couple of options:

Central--They have a private room that might suit a group as large as yours. Lots of kid-friendly items (fried or roasted chicken, burgers etc) and adult friendly delights. Great fun, American cuisine (with a French bend).

Hank's Oyster Bar-I'm not sure if mobility is an issue for this group, but if not Hank's Oyster Bar's new private room would be great for a celebration. It's attached to a bar/lounge so you can do drinks and apps in one room and then move to the sitdown dining room for the main meal.

Other places to consider: 701, Acadiana, and the Hamilton.

Oceanaire Seafood Room. Very large menu and old-fashioned upscale atmosphere. Definitely good for a celebration.
