ISO Wasabi Oil

Okay, so I know it isn't exactly the right choice when you want the wasabi kick. However, when you're giving a light sear to a piece of Yellowfin, nothing quite beats smearing some of this on before flesh meets grill. My wee bottle that I talked Zen into selling to me is gone, gone, gone. Anyone know where to find it east of the DVP and the closer to Victoria Park & Eglinton, the better?

FOUND! Wasabi oil at PAT Oriental Food Mart on the south side of Lawrence, just a bit west of Warden.

I want to thank jayt90 for bringing PAT to my attention. That store dovetails beautifully with the wares at Diana's. I can see shopping there regularly.

P.S. They don't have the low sodium Yamasa soy sauce, but I plan on being a good enough customer that maybe I can talk them into it.

Have you tried McEwan's? I mention not because I've seen it there, but because they have an insane selection of oils.

If you can't find it, it is really easy to make and you can use either paste or powder with just a wee bit of mirin and then oil. I like grapeseed oil because of the higher smoke point and light flavour.

I've made several attempts to make it myself. What that adds to freshness doesn't make up for the lack of perfect integration of ingredients. Your thought is appreciated though.
