Will restaurants ever link up again?

I realize the restaurants database is so long gone that probably some may not even remember it or know what I'm talking about.

While it did have it's faults, the linking of various posts related to a restaurant was really very helpful. "Discussions You Might Also Like..." comes close, but somehow does not evoke linkedness or a relationship between posts like the restaurants database did. And, truthfully I miss the addresses and the maps - even with their flaws.

Is there anything in the works?

I don't speak for the Chowhound Team. But given that all the links to the restaurant database were converted to in-post text of their addresses when the database went away, I can only guess that there's no chance it will return.
