Whole to Ground Almonds?
I bought a surplus of ground almond meal last year that I am still trying to use up. I've found a lot of recipes that call for whole blanched or sliced almonds which then get ground up into a meal. When they don't list by weight, how can I figure out conversion? In particular right now I am wondering what 1 1/4 cups of blanched, sliced almonds would measure once ground into meal. Any thoughts?
