I have a brisket from Grow and Behold and want to know how far in advance to start defrosting it. Is there a rule of thumb by weight? It's 7.5 lbs.
All depends on how you will be defrosting - in or out of the fridge - out of the fridge I would 66-8 hours - in the fridg 2 days -
2 days in the fridge should be perfect.
