Anyone Been to Wellington Steak & Martini Lounge--Mission Hills?

Looks good from the website....wondering how the food is--comparable, to say, Cowboy Star or nothing special??

We dined there about one year ago or so and loved it. The Wellington is small, quiet, and intimate.

The martinis are well made. The menu is on the basic side but the food is high quality. The service is understated and calm. No spazzy upselling and cheerleader-ish nonsense.

We have not been to CS, so I cannot comment on a comparison.

      It's fine, but nothing spectacular.

It's not in the same league as Cowboy Star. For one, the steaks are not dry-aged. For two, not all of their cuts are prime.

All of that said, it's fine, nothing outstanding, and a bit overpriced.

For steaks go to Cowboy Star, but if you want a nice Beef Wellington, this is your place.
