I know lLong Branch and Asbury have a lot of places. But then again. Red bank is a happening scene also. Has anyone been to the newly opened Daniels Bistro in Avon-by-the-sea?

  1. I don't really do asbury park but if I am not mistaken, I can't think of any locations on the Navesink or Shrewsbury River that are BYOB... even manasquan river. (the 3 rivers that I frequent most)

Most waterfront places have a license that I can think of.

Anyway, I will throw a vote in for Salt Creek. Their food is pretty good, the seating is very comfortable and spacious, and the view is nice. They do brunch as well on sunday.

If you like shrimp, they have some great stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp with horse radish.

    1. The food is good, but the place has zero ambiance. We were there on a Sat. Night when they had a keyboard player who they did not need. Became way too noisy. We liked the one in Pt Pleasant
      better.
