ISO: Smoked Sturgeon

Any help on where to find this item? Preferably in the west end of the city but would be able to travel a bit.

  1. Give North Fish in Etobicoke a call.

    1. I've purchased smoked sturgeon at Yummy Market, a great Russian/Eastern European grocery on Dufferin just south of Finch (same plaza as Canadian Tire). Lots of fish options there, but I can't get out of the place without a load of sausage and some pickled items too. There baked goods are also worth checking out.

A small cautionary note, however - you might consider asking for a sample first, as one time when I bought sturgeon there it tasted a little more bottom-feedery than good product should. Not rotten or off, just not prime stuff. Always had good luck with the other smoked fish items there though.

      1. no idea if the price or quality is right

        but costco online sells it
