Or some good jalapeño cheddar.

Can anyone recommend a good brand / store where I could pick some up!?

Don't know if you have Safeway? I know Western Canada,
    Vancouver,BC have Safeway stores.
I get it at my local Safeway here in Seattle, don't know the brand though.
I'm referring to the horseradish cheddar, don't know about Jalep. cheddar?

In toronto (gta) I have never seen a Safeway before.

Maybe the brand you saw was yancys fancy (they are based out of buffalo but I have never seen their cheeses in toronto).

Cabot in Vermont makes a good horseradish cheddar; is it available in your area?

Scheffler's Deli, Cheese Boutique, maybe even Loblaw's at MLG.

Veggo I will look into Cabot.

Futronic, I have never seen those at the cheese boutique, perhaps they sell it now!?

Cabot also makes a habanero cheddar that has some zing. The horseradish is much creamier.

Culinarium on Mount Pleasant sometimes has an Ontario made horseradish cheddar, call them to see if they have it in stock, if they don't they'll happily tell you which cheesemaker it was from.

Do you have Aldi there? It may not be boutique, small batch, etc., etc., but a few weeks ago I got some horseradish white cheddar cheese at my local Aldi that brought tears to my eyes, it was that horseradish-y.

I think it was $4 for an 8 ounce block so actually one of the higher end items that Aldi carries.

I see horseradish cheddar all the time at Chris' cheesemongers, on the west side of the south St. Lawrence Market building. It's usually in Chris' front showcase, along with a number of other house cheddars.
