airport to temple U

css Mar 12, 2013 10:42 AM

picking my son up at phila airport Sunday late afternoon and driving him back to temple U. Anywhere (not fancy) we could stop for a bite to eat. Would like to avoid center city parking hassles. Unfortunately Sabrinas closes at 4 on Sunday. Thanks!

We really like L'Angolo, at 15th and Porter. You can usually find parking on Broad Street. I think they open at 4. Homey, good food, not expensive, byob.

      I second Sylvia's L'Angolo recommendation.

Anyone know if Paesano's is open at that hour?

I know Zavino is open and the parking spaces are on the side of the restaurant are probably unoccupied on Sansom at that hour.

I'd check out the places on Passyunk Ave - basic pizza at Marra's, green eggs cafe is open til 4, not sure of other Sunday hours

I think thats a great idea... you could also go to places on Spring Garden closer to Temple... the new pizza place Bufad would be easy to get to, and parking is easy around 13th and spring garden.

Looks like Bufad is open straight through til 11pm -- good call. It's at 13th & Spring Garden but parking is also very easy right there as well, can probably get a spot right in front. Easier parking and less of a detour than South Philly.

You would think I would have thought of that since I work at Broad and Fairmount! (but I live in QV/Pennsport)
