Looking for Fee Brothers Rhubarb Bitters

  • 6

As you are out and about gathering local goodies, please let me know if you spot a supply of Fee Brothers Rhubarb Bitters. It my favorite addition to seltzer these days and my current bottle is running low.

I know I can buy it online but would love a local source.

I'm also interested in any other interesting bitters you might see. Ginger bitters is high on my search list but I haven't seen one yet outside of Brooklyn bitters online but they never have it currently available when I check.

  1. Boston Shaker and Liquor Land would be where I'd start.

Shrub syrups (sweetened spiced fruit vinegars) are an interesting addition to seltzer. Bittermens makes a celery version I really like. The Boston Shaker also carries the excellent Tart Farm line (the lime one is an amazing lime cordial). It's the ideal place to shop because you can sample most products first.

Speaking of Bittermens, their alternative to orange bitters, orange citrate, makes a lovely version of orange soda.

    1. Giles Liquors in Medford (on 60, just over the bridge from Arlington) usually has a good selection of Fee Brothers stuff. You might want to give them a call.

      1. I got them at Boston Shaker in Davis Square.

        1. I have a trip to Boston Shaker on my to do list! They also have a rhubarb with some ginger... Be still my heart!

          Thanks all

          1. Marty's in Newton has them. Not a great selection of bitters, but they have a few.

If you want to see & try a bunch of different bitters, head to Boston Shaker. they have tons of bitters our for sampling.

            1. For bitters, I usually go to Liquor World in Porter Square. They have always had a good selection of Fee Bros in the past.
