Graduation lunch on a Sunday for 13 near Kimmel?

Lione Mar 11, 2013 12:17 PM

My husband is graduating from med school this June, and we're hosting a lunch after the ceremony for 13 adults and 1 two year old. Any suggestions for locations?

serves brunch or lunch at 2:30 or 3:00
will spend up to $50 per person
walking distance to Kimmel Center (5-6 block radius max, no cabs)
open to private rooms but not necessary
*one person has a peanut allergy*

Thanks in advance!

If BYOB is ok, Giorgio on Pine is very close, open, and easily in your price range. Pretty good Italian food and I think they have a private room upstairs. Casual.

Estia has wonderful banquet facilities and is very close by. I'm not sure of the price though admittedly...

It looks doable budget wise at Estia. Here is a PDF of their banquet rates: http://www.estiarestaurant.com/pdfs/E...
