Matzoh balls made with SHEETS of matzoh, not just matzoh meal

Several years ago I made some matzoh balls using sheets of matzah that were crumbled by hand and then made 'pretty much' like a regular matzoh ball with matzo meal, and I cannot find it for the life of me. I doubt I would use it for a seder but we're a family of "sinker" lovers and these were really dense and chewy.

Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks.

I tried it, but non-Pesach matzos in areas in which matza is seldom eaten are often rancid, as were the ones I bought. With fresh Pesach matzos it should be pretty good.
