Gaylord's [San Francisco]
Has anyone been to the Embarcadero one--perhaps the sole survivor--in modern times?
Many years ago, when it opened in Ghirardelli Square, it was terrific. Now, it's a matter of something plalatable near the Embarcadero Cinemas tomorrow early eve.
I had dinner at Gaylord a few years ago.
They have a happy hour from 5-7, you might have to sit in the bar to get that. When I checked it out in 2009 they had $4 appetizers. Chicken wings and lamb samosas were good, "assorted breads pizza style" was boring.
