  1. Believe it or not The Pickle Barrel used to have a huge and delicious chocolate shake back in the day.

I haven't been to PB in years as it's so awful now so I'm not sure if it's as good as it once was.

They used to call it the Killer Shake.

    1. The shakes at Holy Chuck are ridiculously thick and rich. I can't even come close to finishing one on my own.

        Haha, oh right, HC. Doy.

        I can finish 'em. :)

Embarassingly, I can finish them on my own and do not want to share when it comes to any ice-cream related item! I absolutely love the HC milkshakes. So far, I have tried Strawberry Cheesecake and Nutella and Salted Caramel. So, so, delicious!

Baskin and Robbins makes a pretty good milkshake

          2. Great thread! I can't wait to hear what everyone has to say!!

            1. Holy Chuck's Nutella n salted caramel..soooo good.

I just went to HC's website to look @ their milkshake selection. Has anyone tried the Reese's Peanut Butter and Banana Milkshake or Grandma's Apple Pie from HC? The Reese's Peanut Butter/Banana in particular, sounds really delicious!!

I had a sip of friends PB&B shake,it was good, but the Nutella shake is crazy.. :D

If I weren't so lazy I'd walk down there right now and have one,but you know....

                    1. re: petek

You guys don't think those things are waaaaay too sweet? I tried their shakes twice and couldn't take more than a sip or two.

In any case, as much as Craft Burger (I can't remember what they're called these days) doesn't know how to cook fries properly, they make a very decent chocolate milkshake.

They are too sweet for my personal taste. But they are thick, rich and flavourful! :)

Not me.I like how it cuts through the salty/greasy goodness of the burger(kinda like a can o' Coke and pizza)
Mind you,I can only indulge in this treat a few time a year.

                  1. my best go too for shakes is Dairy CREAM on lakeshore rd just east of cawthra rd. not many places do a decent Chocolate maltz.
