Two dinners in the Buffalo area

Hello NY state hounds!

I will be in the Buffalo area for two nights and need some help choosing where we will go for dinner. I have decided to go to Shango the first night and may go to one of these restaurants the second: Chef’s, Mother’s, Seabar, Left Bank, Bistro Europa, Bacchus, Rue Franklin, Nekktar or Tabree. Which one should I pick? Or perhaps you have a different recommendation?

Are you willing to drive to East Aurora? We really enjoyed Tantalus there (a place our Buffalo friends took us to).

Fine choices. I vote for your plan of Shango on the first night, followed by Bistro Europa for your second dinner.

Thanks for your reply. Seems the Buffalo foodies must prefer yelp! We decided to try out Sun restaurant for Burmese food for our second dinner. Hoping to have a good report after.

Enjoy Sun!! We found it delicious and very first-timer-friendly.

Thanks! We enjoyed our meal at Sun very much. Everything was fantastic. Tea leaf salad was not as good as in San Francisco, and that was a little disappointing.

Service here was great. I especially enjoyed the chicken curry and prata (app) and the chicken rice noodle dish (both Burmese items).

Plan to return next time we are in the area.
