grayelf Mar 6, 2013 06:36 PM

Chris Brown of Rise Artisan Bakers recently won the Silver Award for Seville Orange in the Artisan Category, the professional small batch category at the World Marmalade Awards Festival in Penrith, Cumbria. Last year, nearly 1,800 jars of marmalade from all over the world were entered and judged. This ain't no Micky Mouse jam competition :-).

I was thinking that too, though alas I am not personally a marmalade fan. Will have to check and see if Rise has any at the stall at the Winter Farmers Market... the parentals need a treat!
