Meal Itinerary Easter Week
My husband and I are headed back to New Orleans Easter week. We've been to New Orleans many times, but I still get overwhelmed trying to decide on meals. We are staying in the Marigny. We usually like to have fancy lunches and more casual dinners.
Here's what I have so far:
Wed dinner- Adolfo's - I won't be arriving until 6ish Wed., so I'd like to eat close to our place.
Thurs lunch- Restaurant August
Thurs dinner- Maurepas - planning to go to Vaughns to see Kermit Ruffins afterwards which is close
Fri lunch- Cochon butcher
Fri dinner- Luke
Sat lunch- Cafe Amelie or Clancys
Sat dinner- Acme Oysters
Sun lunch- Stanley
Sun dinner- Three Muses
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Danielle

I would absolutely pick Clancy's over Cafe Amelie, but Clancy's isn't open for lunch on Saturdays I don't believe.
If you're looking for something uptown with a nice bistro feel, consider Le Petite Grocery, Coquette, or Lilette, all of which do Saturday lunch.

You are right about Clancy's being closed. And I think the other three are all good chouices. For some reason my first thought was Petite Grocery but the others are delightful as well.
Saturday dinner? Well, I have my problems with ACME but the oysters there have been good according to a supplier I keep up with.. No idea about Stanley or Three Muses for Easter Sunday..never been to either on that day since my dance card is full months before.
