It's a good, young bourbon, sourced from Heaven Hill, but shrouded in marketing mystery. The parent company is based in New Jersey. The COLA says it's bottled in California. But they insist it was distilled in Kentucky.
The price makes it a reasonable buy, although there are better bourbons at or below that price point. If you like bourbon, you've probably made bigger purchasing mistakes. The lower proof is the biggest turn-off for me.
