Boudin/Black Pudding: Where to Purchase in Greater Lawrence area?

pinehurst Mar 4, 2013 04:19 PM

This was a staple item in the meat dept.Demoulas chains of my childhood, when there was a larger French Canadian population---you would find a dozen trays of links, large or small. That was a long time ago.

Other than as a sometimes-specialty item available at Thwaite's Market in Methuen, where can I purchase good boudin? Southern NH/Merrimack Valley area locales a plus.

Thanks, all!

There is plenty of Irish black pudding around Boston. I've bought it at Russo's and at The Butcher Shop Market in Adams's Square Dorchester.

Have to have my black pudding and white pudding to go with my rashers and breakfast sausage for my Irish breakfast every so often.

Thank you Penny. I might have to make the trip to Boston. I'm said that it's not more widely available!
