Hand Pies

I have a maple pumpkin pie I adore and I wanted to try to make it into a hand pie. But the filling is very loose. Any ideas how I might make this work?

Can I go with my usual crust (all butter, flour, salt, almond flour, vodka)?

Wisdom please.

    If you are talking about a pie that is half moon shaped and sealed well all around, I can't think of why you can't go with your usual crust recipe. Maybe with a couple of very small
    vent holes on top.
