Price Chopper's Dakota Bread recipe?

klutzygirl Mar 1, 2013 10:40 AM

One of the few good things about the very mis-named grocery chain Price Chopper is the Dakota Bread they bake at the stores. I continue to try to duplicate it, so far without much success. Does anyone have a recipe? PC's bread has some rye flour, dried onion and garlic, and a hint of dill. It's different from the Dakota Bread recipes offered by various sites, which are mostly a whole grain bread with nuts, seeds, and sometimes fruit.

You could try writing to their corporate headquarters and asking:

    Maxon Road, Schenectady NY 12305
