I'd go to Bashan in nearby Glendale.

+1,2, and 3 to this (though I'd place it more in Montrose - waaaay up the 2 - than Glendale). Their $40 prix-fixe Tues thru Thurs can't be beat.

TDA has been on fire lately, lots of press everywhere. A bit too crowded for my tastes these days.

i usually go in the day or early evening and sit at the bar. it can be a bit much for an old fucker like me at peak nighttime hours.

El Criollo has opened a restaurant in Burbank. I haven't been but supposed to be good Cuban food. Also Hayat's Kitchen for Lebanese. Technically in Noho on Burbank and Vineland, but so close it counts as Burbank.
