Looking for Light(er)(ish) Lunches

So, I'm coming out to NYC from LA this weekend. I have three nights of amazing meals planned (Corton, Ko, and Jungsik, in that order). I’m looking for suggestions for places to have some good lunches that will be complimentary yet still leave room in my stomach for the evening's marathons (and not break the bank much further). Anywhere in Manhattan will do. Pasta and sushi are probably my two favorite food groups, but open to anything. Thanks in advance.

  1. Around midtown where I usually stay I like E-To, Onya and Katsu-Hama for lighter lunch options.

    1. Eataly, Felidia, Giovanni Rana for pasta..
What about a 38$ 2 courses lunch at jean george?

      1. I'd head for tapas. Otto would be a good option. Alta. Salumeria Rosi
