Please help. Who can repair old vita mix 3600?

Six million people in Los Angeles. My Vita mix 3600 "jar" had the nut which engages with the base break off. Is there a repair shop that can work on these old blenders? (or a shop which sells the retro appliances?)

FWIW, Costco has a high speed version for around $499. BTW, there's more like 10 million of us in the metro area.
