Jeng Chi Restaurant on Greenville Ave. just north of Beltline. Wow. I went for dumplings and dumplings they had. They are beautiful and delicate and perfectly sized. In a different life, I was a teacher in Taiwan for a couple of years. I have yet to find dumplings that match what I remember eating several times a week during my time in Asia. I believe I've found them.

Do yourself a favor and check it out. http://www.jengchirestaurant.com/

I'm also uploading a picture. Yes, I Instagrammed that s***. I'm THAT guy. But I don't care because it was too beautiful. I asked which dumpling on the menu was the most popular and they brought me an assortment. I appreciated that.

Agreed! I like buying their frozen dumplings and cooking them at home for an easy dinner.

Thanks to both of you for the recommendation. An assortment would be perfect. Now I can't wait to try it. I'd eat dumplings every day if I could. (Probably not, but you know what I mean.)

A huge second for Jeng Chi.

Jeng Chi has been one of our most favorite Chinese restaurants in town for a few years.

Personally, I love their twice cooked pork, leek pancakes and of course, all the dumpling offerings. I've never eaten anything there I didn't like.

The ex-Mrs. twinwillow told me she took her next door neighbor there and now, she's addicted too!

But, just don't even try going on a Saturday evening at dinnertime. Always, a looooooong wait.
