Dessert for a Group on a Sunday Night

Hi...

Looking for someplace to have dessert (basically cupcakes) that can accomodate 15 people and stays open late (until midnight at least) on a Sunday.

Cafe Lalo is an option but I am looking for others. Location is not a concern so any suggestions would be helpful.

Ivy Bakery closes at 11pm.

Crumbs closes later but I doubt you'll find one with 15 seats. Maybe someone else can make a suggestion.

The Italian bakeries stay open late (Veniero's, Rocco, Bruno) but I am not sure you'll get 15 seats together (maybe call ahead?) and they are not known for their cupcakes.

If it were a Friday or Saturday you would have way more luck.

I thought about Crumbs but like you said, seating is a problem.

I would be perfectly happy going for Italian pastries but that is not what the birthday girl has requested.

Unfortunately it has to be on Sunday.

We often go to L'Express or French Roast for late night dessert. They are open 24/7 but I do not remember cupcakes on the menu.

I've got it:
Sugar and Plumm on the UWS. Open until 11:30 on Friday and Saturday.
Till 10 on Sundays. I know that is not midnight.
Serendipity on the UES is open until midnight but I don't see cupcakes among the many desserts.
Balthazar is open until midnight but alas no cupcakes.
If all else fails Fairway is open until 1 AM!!

LOL! I hope it doesn't come to Fairway :)

Sugar and Plumm looks good. If we can alter our plans a bit and go earlier that is definitely in the running.
