Chinese Restaurant Awards 2012
Yeah, it was hard to pick dishes that we all agreed on! Wrote up my thoughts about the process, but in a nutshell, it was an interesting experience and I hope that we did a good job, but there were so many factors to consider. I mean, it's not like Vancouver where everything is pretty centred around Richmond. GTA is hyyuuuuge. And we are half the size of the BC team, so (I think) the biggest concern is covering the area in a decent way so that we're no missing anything major.
Which was pretty much impossible, but we tried. Also interesting that we didn't really find anything downtown.

Now that I have seen the result for the first time myself, here are some thoughts:
The title IMHO is a bit generic and misleading. I think organizer should add city name and the word 'Canada' to the main title. Differentiating between Vancouver and Toronto and have two separate rather than one combined article would also help if they are going to expand Toronto's format to become as elaborate as Vancouver's. The latter has had votes by the general 'food loving' public to select the 'Best Restaurants categories'...etc, in addition to just panel judges for best dishes!
