Sunday Brunch: Four Seasons or St Regis Dana Point?

The Oracle Feb 26, 2013 03:30 PM

I'm doing some research for Mother's Day - but, this could also apply to any Sunday.

I haven't been to either, but both Four Seasons and St. Regis seem highly regarded and are my short list.

I'm also open to any other suggestions.

Last year, we went to Scarpetta. Mom loved it, as did I, however, I've been subsequently, and am not eager to return (with the exception of the heavenly polenta/poached egg dish).

Which Four Seasons? There is a Four Seasons in BH near WeHo on Doheny. Four Seasons also runs the Beverly Wilshire, which has Cut. Or is there a Four Seasons property on the coast in OC, since you mention Dana Point? There is a beautiful five-star in Laguna Niguel, equivalent to Four Seasons -- brain-freeze...

        Whoops - sorry!

I meant: Four Seasons (Beverly Hills)

Going to OC/St. Regis would be an hour-long drive for me - but if brunch is THAT good, I'd make the trek.
