Best Gluten Free Pizza in Metro DC?

Searched the boards, yelp, urbanspoon for well over an hour and still stuck looking for a great pizza place that:

- has the gluten-free option for the crust,
- can accommodate a group of about 20 and
- is metro-accessible

I love Il Canale but they're not GF. I'm thinking Ella's may be the only choice, since a sit-down meal for 20 at Pete's doesn't seem very workable.

Ella's is good. On a good day Pizza 17 can accomodate 20 people outside.

Too many people in the party to bank on good weather, unfortunately, thanks, though!

FYI, District of Pi actually has a $25 per person minimum if you want to reserve for a party, plus you have to sign a contract. No thanks.

Fireworks Pizza has gluten free pizzas. There's one in Clarendon. There's a form on the web site to inquire about parties, and they do have a private room. I'm not sure how large it is as I've never been in that Fireworks, but you might check the web site for the menu and if it looks interesting, call and ask about your party.

Thanks, wasn't even aware of that place, worth trying some time.

Very similar question to OP so I didn't want to make a new topic. Same question minus the need to accommodate a huge party, do the options change?

District of Pi is still a good choice.

I've had good GF pizza at Zpizza, but not at one of their locations.

My favorite GF pizzas are from Rustico and Pete's, I like their crust the best as they have less rice flour than Fireworks, etc. Rustico's Ballston location is Metro accessible. Pete's has multiple locations.
