Junior's closed, where to get Passover raspberry-apricot cake?

Now that Junior's has closed, and short of trying myself to replicate the old-timey Jewish bakery combination of spongecake, marzipan, and raspberry and apricot jams (which I know won't fly), does anyone know of ANY bakery which makes this cake for Passover?

To be specific, it had a sponge cake base and a piped, oven-browned marzipan lattice, which was then filled in with raspberry and apricot jams (sometimes all raspberry or all apricot).

I've been buying this cake every spring since my family used to get it at the late lamented Atlantic Square Bakery in Monterey Park, and I found Junior's version to be a good substitute. But now that Junior's is gone I am bereft. Help? Willing to drive practically anywhere (I live in Mt. Washington). Thank you.

  1. You might check with Diamond Bakery on Fairfax, not far from the Farmer's Market. If they make it, it's sure to be good.

    1. As far as I know the deli that replaced Jr's (Lenny's) is offering all the same desserts that Jr's had. So just check with them and they'll probably have it.

      1. I believe you can get it @ Bea's Bakery in Tarzana (call first)

        1. Gelson's or Beverlywood Bakery just down Pico from Juniors

          1. Thank you so much for all these suggestions! Will call all the bakeries mentioned.
