Kanpai sushi bar on lincoln blvd, westchester
had lunch there today.
far better than sasabune, not as good as k-zo.
prices seemed high for what it was.
lunch for two, splitting one sapporo,
$142 before tax and tip for two salads and sushi a la carte.

my pleasure,
normally i would not be eating at a sushi bar on a sunday and then reviewing it,
but, circimstances dictated that the meal had to be sushi, had to be this past sunday, had to be near LAX, and had to be available in the hours between normal lunch service and normal dinner service.
given all the above, i didn't really have too many options other than Kanpai. i feel pretty fortunate that it was as good as it was... . .
the restaurant was about half full during that time.
