New Haven with Kids

Any suggestions for a pre-theater dinner on a Saturday night for a bunch (7) of pre-teens? Ideally it would be within walking distance to the Shubert so I only have to find parking once. I would like to keep the price down because those Blue Man Group tix cost a fortune! I was thinking Shake Shack because it is right on the corner but am worried about a wait time.

Shake Shack might be your best bet, There is Bar for pizza, it is actually a bit closer to the theater (on Crown St) but wait time may be an issue there as well
