Baking in a silicone pan for the first time

csprunger Feb 22, 2013 08:57 AM

My daughter received a silicone pan that is in the shape of butterflies/ladybugs (holds about 1/4 cup batter). We want to use the pan to make some lemon muffins/cakes for snack next week. Any advice on tips for using the pan? A good recipe? Thanks!

I find it easier to use put my silicone pan on top of a baking sheet for ease of moving into and out of the oven. Let cool completely in the pan.
