Benjamin's Steakhouse -- Info Needed!
This popped up on our short list, but just found out they are Lugar Alums. does anyone know if the steak is prepapred in the "Lugar" way (ala shine etc..and not my fave) or do they do their steaks differently? Thanks need to cross it off the list or pull the trigger!
When you are presented your steak at Peter Lugar, they place an upside down ceramic saucer on the table. The hot steak arrives on a very hot ceramic plate, which they balance on the upside down saucer so that the juices run down to one end. The juices are then spooned on top of the steak when serving.
They also have a seafood-focused spin-off restaurant called "Sea Fire Grill", where Benjamin style steak is also available.
