Cocktail bars in Midtown for bachelor party

Hey all,

A group of us from Boston and Tampa will be in Atlanta for a friends wedding in a little over a month's time. We will be taking the groom out for a night out starting off with dinner at either Holeman and Finch or Empire State South. If we wanted to stay in the general Midtown area which cocktail bars would you recommend for a group of 10 to go on a craft cocktail crawl. We will be cabbing it from place to place so some distance would be fine.

Also any suggestions of which of the two restaurants or any alternatives would be appreciated.

While Eugene is excellent, if you are taking the groom out, holeman and finch is a much better option. You can order lots of great/diverse menu options, and they have excellent cocktails too. Careful though, I don't think they take reservations. So, if you have a large group and don't want to wait, get there early.

Thanks for the reply. I think the lack of reservations may be a deal breaker. I think we may look at eating at "The Spence" then starting our cocktail crawl at Holeman and Finch followed by Iberian Pig. Any thoughts?

Also consider Abbatoir for dinner.
For drinks, Southern Art and Bourbon Bar
And if you are going to Decatur, I would hit Leon's Full Service over Iberian Pig for both food and drinks.
