Just saw on the news that the Quebec Language Review Board is ordering an 'Italian' restaurant to dump the word 'Pasta' from their sign!!!
You must be kidding me??!!
What's next? Sushi from Japanese restaurants, Curry from Indian restaurants?

Sorry, maybe I don't understand Quebec, but what is the problem with calling pasta "pasta"? Or rather, what would be the point of the ban?

'Pasta' in the eyes of Quebecois is not a French word!!! They only allow signs in French??!!
