Looking for good food/vino and raw oysters are a plus but not too stuffy. Any suggestions?

Jaleo is a perfect first date place. Crystal City.

If you end up in CC, for the oysters there's McCormick and Schmicks on the other end of the "block" of the same sidewalk that Jaleo is on (and closer to the metro if that matters). By CC official terms, the distance is three blocks (20th/23rd streets, both on Crystal Drive), but it's not 3 normal blocks at all.

Start with oysters at M&S and stroll down to Jaleo.

When the weather is cold, though, there's not a heck of a lot to do otherwise in CC. In warm weather there are a number of nice paths and labyrinths, the Long Bridge and a nice waterfall closer to 18th or so.
