Girls night out restaurants?

New to chowhound & new to Boston.. we're looking for a budget friendly restaurant for a celebration. We'll be staying at Intercontinental on Atlantic Ave by the Harbor.

Many discussions on here suggest Back Bay restaurants. Anything closer to our hotel, in case the weather makes it unwalkable?

Daily Catch is very good sicilian style seafood and not "uber pricey." Les Zygomates is a cool French bistro, often has live jazz, not too far. J.J. Foley, good and friendly bar, not too far though a bit of a walk. Chinatown not too far either!

You could also hoof it to Lucky's Lounge.

Welcome to Boston! While Cuchi Cuchi is a well-loved GNO place (tapas), if I were pressed near the Intercontinental, I might say Towne.
