Where can I buy nitrite-free pepperoni?

I've found it at Whole Foods. Wondering if any specialty or mom-and-pop markets carry it, especially those north of Boston. Thanks.

Not a mom and pop store but Trader Joes has it.

I would also try the Common Crow in Gloucester or Wild Oats in Beverly. Call first tho, I haven't been since last summer.

FYI, foods labeled "nitrite-free" are in fact not nitrite-free. They just have nitrite added from an impure source, like a vegetable extract.

        Savenor's in Cambridge has it.
