Coming Soon! New Grocery Outlet in Richmond

during my morning walk I noticed that a new sign/banner up on the old Lucky store at San Pablo and McDonald Ave. It's going to be a Grocery Outlet soon. ( whenever that is ? ) they have been working on the inside though so it looks promising.

I remember going to that store as a kid back in the early 70's.

wow! place must have empty for at least 10 years.
good news for richmond since safeway moved out across the street a year or so ago.

There will be a GO in the Richmond District of SF (on Geary at 28th) before too long as well.

The last news report I saw was a Fall 2013 opening for the SF location, but having driven by it several times, they haven't even started doing anything to it yet.
