Who's great for unfrenzied dinner and NOT on opentable?

enhF94 Feb 15, 2013 02:05 PM

Writing a response five minutes ago, I refreshed my memory by looking up the basic Boston list on Opentable - and suddenly realized that I basically wasn't considering any restaurant without it.

What have I been missing?

*note: if possible, let's avoid the merits and sins of OpenTable itself. I know that's a serious discussion but I'm hoping we can skip it here.

UrbanSpoon hosts uReserve, another online reservation system. Look for a table on a date a few days in the future, like at this link (as of today), to get an idea of the local places that are on it, fewer than 20 at the moment: http://www.urbanspoon.com/reservations/lb/4/best-restaurants-Boston?neighborhood_group_id=&time=19%3A00&date=2013-02-20
