Cookbook Eliminations
Please to the powers that be do not move my message into an obscure discussion.
Since we are always listing the books we are lusting for.....is anyone following The Piglet eliminations of the current favorite cookbooks at Food 52?. I have only a few of the books, but have mixed emotions over their choices and today is Day 8.

I enjoy the review aspects of the project. The judging process seems to help describe clarity, etc. by way of comparison. The judge changes each time so the series looses a certain element of consistency.
I'm not really interested in the "winner". Deciding between two books of such different focus seems silly. If I'm choosing between two books they generally are related in some way. The results of that sort of examination would be much more useful to me.
