  1. Other than the pub in the Victory building condos, there is nothing by the venue, you should probably go somewhere on your way in. Lots of options in Philly just over the bridge though it may be annoying to park twice. Which direction are you coming from?

    Anyone been to the pub?

Slightly off topic but does anyone know when the riverlink ferry starts up again? I know it ended at the end of September. In good weather, it makes it a lot easier to eat in the city park in the city and avoid traffic in Camden.

        Starts it May: http://riverlinkferry.org/

The ferry is a nice option but a word of warning... for sold out shows the wait to get back into Philly can be horrible. They only have one boat and when it fills up, you have to wait for the whole round trip. I've waited well over an hour before (3-4 round trips), and that can be rough after standing at a 2+ hr concert, not to mention longer and more tedious than waiting in car traffic. How crowded the ferry is probably depends on the demographics of the concert though... a younger crowd equals more people riding the ferry I'd guess. If you can stomach the longer and sketchy walk, PATCO is actually a better (and cheaper) choice. It also serves better restaurant neighborhoods than the ferry, not that the ferry location is terrible but PATCO will drop you on the doorstep of 13th St and Rittenhouse.

It's also not that crazy to take a cab from Center City to the venue, I'm not quite sure the best way to arrange one for the ride back though.

Well then Patco would be an option year round. What would recommend close to a Patco station in Philadelphia then?

Basically all of Center City is in walking distance of a PATCO station. And you can switch to the El at 8th St too, to go to NoLibs or Fishtown.

    2. The Victor is typical pub grub. Adequate but nothing great. You're better off heading into Westmont and going to the Pourhouse or Keg and Kitchen. Great beer selection and good grub.

      1. Camden is currently the most dangerous city in the country. Eat somewhere close to where you're coming from before you head for the Susquehanna Bank Center (lots of security there).
