Looking for a great Italian market in south Orange County (CA)

If you are driving all the way up to Claro's I suggest you go to Cortina's in Anaheim instead. They have a much larger selection of olive oils, pasta, tomatoes, sundries, wine, etc... Their deli section of cheeses, cured meats, olives, sliced meats is much larger with more variety. Their cookies are amazing. You can also grab lunch next door to the pizzeria.

As long as you're driving up that way, check out Surfas OC which will cover your olive oil, pasta, San Marzano tomatoes, guanciale, pancetta needs and more.

I know that Orange isn't in SOC, but do yourself a favor and head to Claro's there. Not only will the selection make you glad you made the faintly longer drive, so will those superb custom-made deli sandwiches. *le sigh, with a smile*

And how can you beat a six-store "chain-let" that got its start in 1949?
