Non-Steakhouse Recs in the Financial District?

I'm a foodie and am taking out a group for dinner in the Financial District. Client is on Water Street. We are looking for a foodie-oriented (or at least fine dining) NON-steakhouse option. Thanks!

Where did you end up? I'd say North End Grill is a solid choice but at that point you're in Tribeca so alot opens up. Also agree with Water and Wall in the Andaz. For a group there isn't that much. You could also try whatever evolution of SHO in Setai is currently up to, that would have been your best option.

In that area, if you take out steakhouses you're really left with nothing, except may be Cipriani.

Why not just cab it to Tribeca and go to JungSik?

How about North End Grill in Battery Park City?

For fine dining, Corton and Bouley are worth a short cab ride to Tribeca.
