Do you create unique foods?

Just heard that Wasabi is rare and what we get here is really just a mixture of horseradish, mustard and green food colouring! It apparently is very difficult to cultivate and expensive. Not often found outside of Japan. Wondering if any markets in Montreal carry the 'real' thing.

      Miyamoto is a good start.
Marche Hawai in VSL or possibly Kim Phat on teh south shore.

There is also a gourmet Asian shop in Laval that i recall sold high end wasabi. It is on Corbusier, near the Foresta furniture store.

Not Hawaii; they have the same S&B powder and tubes, and also carry mainland Chinese product.

Miyamoto has on occasion carried the wasabi rhizome. Grind yourself.
